The Company

Sunrez was founded in 1986 by Mark Livesay and Dr. Novis Smith. Over the last 38 years, Sunrez has developed into a leader in UV cure for composite applications. We are your best source for turnkey UV cure solutions to improve efficiency and lower delivered cost for your process.

Sunrez specializes in the manufacture and application of UV cure resin, putty, coatings and prepreg in composite systems. Sunrez has the most experience and the best technology delivering UV cure solutions for our customers. Sunrez holds key patents in the use and application of light curing resins that include technologies in the area of resin infusion (VARTM), reduction of styrene emissions, prepregging, patching, joining, repair, and new composite fabrication.

Sunrez Corp has focused on infrastructure rehabilitation efforts and has led the way in UV cure resin systems in both Cure-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) and the Wind energy sector. Sunrez has increasingly applied its knowledge of composite materials, coatings, and fabrication technologies to programs in support of the US military that range from increased weather resistance, lightweight armoring materials and down-range. We are also transitioning almost all our formulations to no VOC, no HAP non-flammable options for improved worker safety, ease of shipping and reduced emissions.

Sunrez Corp was saddened when founder Mark Livesay passed away on November 28, 2021. Mark was the steward of Sunrez for 36 years and built the customer focused business mindset we’re known for. It will continue as Bret Tollgaard leads Sunrez as our President/CEO.
